We accept most dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, BlueCross BlueShield, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Concordia, Ameritas, Lincoln Financial, Principal, Sun Life, Physicians Mutual and Concordia. We offer same-day appointments whenever possible for toothaches, broken or knocked-out teeth, swelling and lost fillings or crowns. If you have swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911. - What are your hours, and where are you located? We are open Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (closed for lunch 1:00 to 2:00 pm), and closed Friday to Sunday. Our office is at 40 N Airlite St, Suite 1A, Elgin, IL 60123, near Larkin Avenue, with wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking.
- How often should I have a checkup and cleaning? Most patients do best with a checkup and professional [cleaning](https://dentalcareelgin.com/regular-cleanings-and-deep-cleanings-in-elgin-il/) every six months. If you have signs of gum disease or a higher risk of cavities, we may recommend more frequent visits or a deep cleaning.
- What’s the difference between veneers and crowns? Both improve the look of your teeth.
